Driving without a license is now a major threat in Islamabad . Starting October 1, the city’s traffic police will begin strict action against those driving without a license, including arrest, vehicle impoundment, and legal action.
Strict action plan
Under the new law, anyone caught driving without a valid license will be immediately arrested and their vehicle will be impounded on the spot. Authorities have also announced that offenders will not receive a character certificate until they obtain a valid license.
A solution to growing concern
Officials say the move is being taken to improve road discipline and discourage unlicensed driving, which has become a growing problem in the capital. The directive will be implemented across Islamabad, and traffic police are preparing special operations to ensure compliance.
Citizens have been advised to carry their valid license with them at all times, as authorities have made it clear that no discounts will be given after the start of this campaign.
