Islamabad Police Ranks and Salary 2026: Complete List with BPS Grades

Islamabad Police, formally the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, is the police force of Pakistan's federal capital. It works under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, not under a provincial government, which is the first difference from the Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan guides in this cluster. Islamabad Police ranks from lowest to highest

Islamabad Police personnel are paid on the Basic Pay Scales. The Finance Division revised the federal scales with effect from 1 July 2026 through Office Memorandum No.F.1(2)IMP/2026, dated 21 July 2026, and the starting basic pay figures below follow that revision, as used across Narr's ranks cluster. They are starting basic pay, not total monthly salary, because allowances are added on top.

Why the Islamabad grades can be stated plainly

Unlike the Balochistan junior grades, where an older table conflicts with the 2026 advertisement, the Islamabad junior grades are convergent across the 2026 listings: Constable BPS-07, Head Constable BPS-09, ASI BPS-11, SI BPS-14 and Inspector BPS-16 appear in the 2026 executive advertisement listings and in the sanctioned posts notification alike.
