94 Balochistan posts open until 12 November 2026
The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP), Ministry of Communications, has advertised 94 regular posts for Balochistan domicile holders, under advertisement reference PID(I)3901/26, published 29 October 2026. Six listings were posted on the National Job Portal (NJP) on 28 October 2026, as part of the federal Balochistan Employment Initiative covering 55 federal bodies and 4,599 posts in total. Only Pakistani nationals holding a Balochistan Domicile or Local Certificate issued by the competent authority can apply. Apply online only through the National Job Portal, njp.gov.pk, with a separate online form for each post. There is no fee: NJP registration and applications are free. Manual, postal and courier applications are rejected.
The closing date needs stating plainly, because sources disagree. The two reads of the NJP listings themselves, made on 31 October 2026, both give 12 November 2026, and this guide uses that date. The advertisement itself prints no calendar date, only "within 15 days of publication", and one job blog gives 6 November 2026. A 15 day count from 29 October lands near 13 November, which supports the 12 November portal date rather than the 6 November figure. Apply well before 12 November and save the confirmation.

Constable eligibility and physical standards
Age: 18 to 25 years, with no relaxation in the upper age limit for the constable post. Height: men 5 feet 6 inches, women 5 feet 3 inches. Chest, men only: 33 inches expanding to 35, relaxable by 1 inch. Learner driving licences are not accepted, and holding only a car licence is not enough: the constable post needs both a valid car and a valid motorcycle licence.
The physical test
Men take four tests: 10 push-ups in 1 minute, a one mile run in 9 minutes, 10 bicycle crunches in 1 minute, and height and weight checked against a standard BMI chart. Women run one mile in 14 minutes and are checked on height and weight; no push-up or crunch figure is printed for women. No test date has been announced yet, so do not plan around a date from any guide: watch the portal and the NHMP contact below.
Age conflict on the office posts
The five office posts say 18 to 25 in their listing text, but the NJP portal card shows a maximum of 30 for each. That gap probably reflects the five year Balochistan relaxation that ASF and Pakistan Railways state openly for this same drive, but NHMP's listings are silent on it. This guide states both readings and lets the advertisement text win. If you are between 25 and 30 and want an office post, apply, keep a screenshot, and ask NHMP at ddhrm.civil.hq@nhmp.gov.pk rather than guessing.
Salary
The advertisement prints no pay figure, so this guide claims no total salary. The only pay figure stated here is the BPS-07 starting basic pay of Rs 19,590 per the Finance Division BPS-2026 scale, labelled as starting basic pay only, exactly as in the other Narr joining guides. Allowances sit on top of basic pay and vary by posting, so no monthly total is given.
How to apply
Sign up on njp.gov.pk as a candidate with your CNIC and email, verify the email and sign in, fill your CV with domicile, FA or FSc result and any experience, open Balochistan Jobs and search for NHMP, then apply to your post by 12 November 2026 and save the confirmation. If your FA certificate is missing from the education list, raise a ticket from the CV page well before the closing date. For questions about a listing, contact NHMP at ddhrm.civil.hq@nhmp.gov.pk.
The officer route: Patrol Officer through FPSC
The entry level uniformed post in this intake is Junior Patrol Officer, equivalent to constable rank, BPS-07. The officer route is Patrol Officer, BPS-14, recruited historically through the Federal Public Service Commission, not through the National Job Portal. The last large FPSC intake was 300 Patrol Officer posts in February 2020. The pattern from the FPSC advertisements: second class or Grade C Bachelor's degree; height men 5 feet 8 inches, relaxable by 2 inches for Balochistan males and 1 inch for Balochistan females, women 5 feet 4 inches; chest 33 to 35 inches, relaxable by 1 inch; car and motorcycle driving proficiency; age 18 to 25 plus 5 years general relaxation, maximum 30. No Patrol Officer intake is open now. Keep the two routes apart: JPO height is 5 feet 6 inches in the 2026 advertisement, PO height is 5 feet 8 inches in the FPSC pattern. Older guides quoting male height of 5 feet 7 to 8 inches, an LTV licence with 3 years experience and an 8 minute mile contradict the 2026 advertisement and belong to older or different intakes.
No selection sequence beyond the physical test is verified from the advertisement or the NJP listings, so this guide states none: no written test, interview or medical order is claimed here.
