Punjab Revises Matric and Inter Exam Dates 2026, Here's Why?

The Punjab Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, has officially revised the Punjab Matric and Inter Exam Dates 2026. This adjustment moves board exams to a period after Ramadan and Eid, giving students a more relaxed environment to focus on preparation without the added challenge of fasting.

Updated Exam Schedule

• Matric exams: starting around March 24, 2026
• Intermediate exams: shortly after matric exams

Originally, matric exams were scheduled for March 3 and intermediate exams for May 5. The new timetable provides students with extra time for revision and ensures a balance between religious observances and academic responsibilities.

• Make a structured study plan prioritizing difficult subjects first
• Practice past papers and sample questions
• Maintain a healthy daily routine to boost focus and retention

Parents can help students succeed by:

Role of Parents

• Providing a distraction-free study space
• Encouraging consistent revision and time management

• Keeping track of official exam announcements

This revision not only supports students academically but also allows schools and teachers to manage exam administration more smoothly.
