How to Check & Pay Traffic E-Challan Online in Punjab / Lahore2025

To improve traffic management without human interference and to curb corruption, the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) introduced the e-challan system in Lahore back in September 2018.

ANPR cameras installed across the city automatically identify traffic violators. Once a violation is detected, an e-challan is issued and sent to the vehicle owner’s registered address.

These electronic tickets can now be paid online through different digital banking options, no more standing in long queues at bank counters during peak hours.

The initiative has made the ticketing process transparent, efficient, and far more convenient for the people of Punjab. Over time, the same system has also been expanded to other major cities including Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Gujranwala.

How to Check E-Challan Online

You can easily check any e-challans issued on your vehicle by visiting echallan.psca.gop.pk

Just enter your CNIC and vehicle registration number, and the system will display the details of your challan.

You can also download and print the challan if you need a copy for reference or payment.

How to Pay E-Challan in Punjab

If you’ve received an e-challan notice at home, you can still pay it the traditional way by visiting the nearest branch of the Bank of Punjab or National Bank of Pakistan.

However, the process has now become much simpler thanks to online payment options.

You can pay your e-challan through:

• ePay Punjab app or website epay.punjab.gov.pk
• Bank of Punjab ATMs
• Mobile banking apps of major banks (HBL, Meezan, UBL, Allied, etc.)
• Internet banking (Jazz cash, easypaisa or sadapay) or any app that supports PSID payments

To pay online, open the ePay Punjab app, choose “Traffic Challan,” enter your vehicle registration number or CNIC, and a PSID (Payment Slip ID) will be generated. You can then pay directly using your preferred banking method.

PSCA Mobile App

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has also launched its official mobile app, PSCA – Public Safety, available for both Android and iOS users.

Through the app, citizens can check and pay e-challans, view traffic updates, and stay informed about road safety initiatives. You can log in with your CNIC and vehicle details to see pending challans or payment history, all from your phone.
